Delhi Police Arrests 10 in Child Exploitation Crackdown

On July 19, Delhi Police's Central District Unit launched a joint operation under a zero‑tolerance policy against child sexual exploitation material. Ten people were arrested and charged under the POCSO Act and the Information Technology Act. Their mobile phones and other digital devices were seized for forensic examination.

The operation began after cyber‑tip‑line and international signals indicated illegal sharing of child sexual abuse content, linked to a broader network. In the previous five days, five similar cases had been logged, prompting the coordinated raid. Police said further technical investigations are underway and more arrests could follow as additional digital footprints are examined.
