Delhi Police bust illegal gambling den in Khyala; seven arrested
The Delhi Police Special Staff conducted a raid on an illegal gambling den in the Vishnu Garden area of Khyala, West Delhi. During the operation, seven individuals were arrested on the spot.
Authorities seized 18,060 rupees in suspected betting money, various betting slips, and 33 quarter bottles of illegal alcohol. Preliminary investigations revealed that the premises belong to Shobha, a known criminal with 26 prior cases registered at the Khyala police station, though she was not present during the raid.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Sandeep, Arun Kumar, Madan Lal, Neeraj, Mukhtar Singh, Kishan, and Bittu Kumar. The suspects and seized items have been handed over to the local Khyala police for further legal proceedings. DCP West Harshesh V. Swami stated that the crackdown on illegal gambling and unlawful activities in the district will continue.
