Delhi Police bust Pakistan-linked terror plot in NCR, arrest four Punjab men

The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested four men from Punjab – Shubdeep Singh (23), Gurjant Singh (22), Sajan Singh (28) and Gaganpreet (24) – after uncovering a network they say was directed by Pakistan-based ISI handler Shahzad Bhatti. The suspects were accused of planning a terror strike in the National Capital Region, with one tasked to reconnoitre police and religious sites.

Police seized two foreign‑made pistols, nine live cartridges and five mobile phones during raids in Delhi and Punjab. Investigators claim the group received arms and narcotics deliveries via drones and used foreign numbers to evade detection. The probe continues to identify additional operatives and assess the full extent of the alleged network.
