Delhi Police dismantles Shahzad Bhatti terror and arms network modules

The Delhi Police Special Cell arrested six suspects after raids in Delhi and Punjab uncovered two separate modules of the Shahzad Bhatti network. One module was linked to terror‑related activities and the other to illegal arms trafficking. Police recovered several pistols and petrol bombs and are expanding the investigation to determine the network’s full scope.

In a concurrent operation, the police disrupted an interstate online racket that sold forged government identity documents. Two accused were arrested after authorities traced a website offering counterfeit Aadhaar, voter ID, PAN and other certificates. The investigation revealed that the site accepted payments via UPI and generated fake documents with manually entered data, posing a risk to public security and document integrity.
