Delhi Police honors 16 student innovators for tech solutions

Delhi Police honored 16 student innovators during a ceremony at the police headquarters following the conclusion of the 'Delhi Police Summer Internship Program-2026.' The program, which began on June 8, aimed to foster collaboration between law enforcement and academic institutions.

Out of more than 400 applications from universities and technical institutes across the country, 16 students were selected through a rigorous process. Participants included students from institutions such as IIT Delhi, Delhi Technological University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Jamia Hamdard, and Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology.

Under the supervision of the Tech and Project Implementation Division, the interns developed four functional solutions. These innovations, which include AI-based tools, are expected to improve administrative efficiency, streamline internal processes, and strengthen citizen services as part of the department's digital transformation and modernization efforts.
