The retirees were encouraged to pursue personal interests after retirement while remaining part of the Delhi Police family.

The ceremony marked the transition of the officers to honorary ranks, with 7 moving from head constable to assistant sub‑inspector, 37 from assistant sub‑inspector to sub‑inspector, and 158 from sub‑inspector to inspector.
