Delhi police investigate fatal assault in Mayur Vihar Phase 3
A man was allegedly beaten to death with sticks and rods in the Mayur Vihar Phase 3 area of East Delhi early Sunday morning. The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the New Ashok Nagar police station.
A security guard, Nandlal Yadav, reported witnessing the assault around 4:00 AM. Yadav stated that two men were involved in the attack and that they threatened him when he attempted to intervene.
Delhi Police have launched an investigation and are currently examining the scene. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects and establish the motive behind the killing. The identity of the victim, believed to be approximately 40 years old, has not yet been confirmed.
