Delhi: Woman allegedly harassed and pushed off scooter by bikers

A 21-year-old design student was allegedly stalked, sexually harassed, and pushed off her scooter by two men on a motorcycle in South Delhi. The incident occurred near the Panchsheel Park Metro station in the Hauz Khas area during the night of September 11–12.

The victim reported that the unidentified men followed her, passed objectionable remarks, and eventually rammed their vehicle into her scooter. This caused her to lose control and skid for approximately 100 to 150 metres, resulting in severe injuries, including deep cuts and skin loss. She was initially treated at Max Hospital in Saket and later moved to Medanta Hospital in Noida, where doctors advised plastic surgery.

Delhi Police stated that while the initial report received via a PCR call was categorized as a road accident, an FIR has since been registered following further details regarding the stalking and harassment. Investigators are looking into the circumstances of the attack, though officials noted a lack of CCTV coverage at the specific location of the collision.
