Delhi Police recover abducted minor from Punjab; arrest made in West Bengal assault

Delhi Police successfully recovered a 14-year-old girl who had been abducted from Bharat Nagar. Following an investigation involving CCTV analysis and technical surveillance, authorities tracked the victim to Zirakpur, Punjab. A 16-year-old male suspect was taken into custody in connection with the abduction.

In a separate incident in Baruipur, West Bengal, police arrested a man for the alleged rape of a mentally disabled woman. The victim's family reported that the suspect entered her home while she was alone and threatened her life to ensure silence. The arrest followed local protests demanding strict legal action. This incident follows another recent arrest in the same area involving a man accused of sexually exploiting his 13-year-old daughter.
