Delhi Police rescue two kidnapped girls in Bihar after interstate operation

The Anti‑Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Delhi Police’s Central District rescued two minor girls who had been abducted in Bihar. The operation used technical surveillance, analysis of 65 CCTV feeds and verification of over 140 shelters before locating the victims.

The first girl, a 13‑year‑old from Paharganj, was tracked via a mobile handset that moved from Saharsa to Supaul district, where Delhi and local police apprehended her. The second victim, a 15‑year‑old from Anand Parbat, was found in Benipatti, Madhubani district after credible tips led investigators there. Both kidnappers had repeatedly changed locations and SIM cards to evade detection. The rescue brings the unit’s total recovered missing persons for the year to 46.
