Delhi Police arrested a 20-year-old man and seized 200 quarter bottles of illicit liquor labeled ‘for sale in Haryana only’ during a routine patrol in the Lal Kuan area. The incident occurred on the night of August 24 near Farashkhana Road.

The suspect, identified as Akash from Burari, was intercepted after attempting to flee on a grey scooter. Upon inspection, police discovered a heavy white plastic bag containing 200 bottles of country liquor, each measuring 180 ml.

Authorities seized both the alcohol and the scooter used in the transport. A case has been registered at the Hauz Qazi Police Station under sections 33 and 38 of the Delhi Excise Act, and further investigations are underway.
