Delhi Police solve Guddu Badshah murder case with eight arrests

The South-East Delhi Police have solved the murder of Irshad Alam, also known as Guddu Badshah, who was shot dead in the Lal Kuan area of Pul Prahladpur on July 28. Following an interstate investigation spanning approximately 12,000 kilometers, authorities have arrested eight suspects across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.

Investigations revealed that the killing was motivated by a long-standing rivalry originating in Supaul, Bihar, between the deceased and suspects Shamshad and Ashfaq. The police stated that the victim was lured from Bihar to Delhi under the pretext of resolving the dispute. Once in Delhi, he was taken to a rented warehouse in Lal Kuan where the shooting occurred.

The suspects allegedly divided responsibilities, including planning the attack, arranging transportation and accommodation, and executing the murder. One individual, M. Farrukh, who was initially found injured at the scene and claimed to be a victim, was arrested after police identified contradictions in his statements through call detail records and technical surveillance. He is accused of gaining the victim's trust to facilitate the trap.
