Delhi sees warm morning, light rain and satisfactory air quality

New Delhi recorded a warm Monday morning, with the minimum temperature at Safdarjung reaching 28.4 °C, about 2 °C above the seasonal norm. Light rainfall was reported at several stations, ranging from trace amounts to 6.8 mm at Ayanagar, while the Central Pollution Control Board listed the Air Quality Index at 75, classifying it as “satisfactory”.

The India Meteorological Department noted that the previous day’s maximum temperature hit 35.7 °C, humidity stayed between 70 % and 85 %, and 1 mm of rain fell across the city. Forecasts call for generally cloudy skies and additional light rain on Tuesday, with temperatures expected to dip to around 32 °C during the day and 24 °C at night.
