Delhi DTC bus accident kills 12-year-old student

A 12-year-old student, Kayna Pal, died on Friday after a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus collided with the scooter she was riding near New Ashok Nagar in Delhi. The girl was traveling to East Point School with her uncle when the high-speed bus allegedly struck the vehicle while attempting to overtake.

Following the collision, the bus driver fled the scene, prompting an angry crowd to gather and vandalize the bus. Local police arrived to manage the situation and have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident and the driver's responsibility.

In a separate, unrelated incident in the Vasant Kunj area of Delhi, a 20-year-old man named Yashvendra died after his car skidded on a slippery road and fell into a drain.
