Delhi student sent bomb threat to Air Force Bal Bharti School

A minor student at the Air Force Bal Bharti School in Lodi Road, Delhi, sent a hoax bomb threat email to the school principal to secure a holiday. The email, received on October 23, 2026, claimed that bombs had been placed within the school building.

Following the threat, the South District Cyber Police conducted a technical investigation, analyzing digital footprints and technical clues linked to the email. The investigation revealed that the sender was not an external actor but a student from the same institution. Due to the suspect's status as a minor, authorities are proceeding with actions under the Juvenile Justice Act.
