Delhi Tourism honors Anganwadi and ASHA workers with Dandiya Night
Delhi Tourism organized a special Dandiya Night at Chhatrasal Stadium to honor Anganwadi and ASHA workers. The event provided these workers and their families an opportunity to celebrate Navratri through traditional Garba, music, and cultural performances.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta attended the celebration, praising Anganwadi workers for their essential roles in ensuring children’s nutrition, health, and education. She reaffirmed the Delhi government’s commitment to the welfare and empowerment of these workers. Cabinet Minister Kapil Mishra also attended, noting that the initiative aims to recognize the contributions of workers serving mothers and families in need. Mishra stated that the event is intended to become an annual occurrence.
