Delhi: Woman stabbed to death by husband in Palam

A 30-year-old woman was stabbed to death in the Palam area of southwest Delhi on Sunday. Police report that the victim was attacked with a butcher’s knife during a heated argument at a biryani shop in JJ Colony.

The suspect, identified as the victim's 35-year-old husband, Pradeep, allegedly fled the scene following the attack. Preliminary investigations suggest the dispute arose after the wife confronted him regarding an alleged affair. The couple, originally from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, had been married for eight years and had two young sons.

Following the incident, the woman was transported to Indira Gandhi Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A murder case has been registered, and police are currently conducting raids to apprehend the suspect.
