Delicias Mayor reports on infrastructure, social programs, and security

During his fifth government report, Mayor Jesús Valenciano García outlined various administrative achievements and future initiatives for Delicias. Key highlights include a significant investment in public works, with approximately 1.9 million square meters of roads paved or rehabilitated and over 1.5 billion pesos allocated to infrastructure, including wastewater treatment plants and the Centinela Subcenter.

Social and health initiatives were also emphasized. The municipality has expanded its sports programs, reaching 149 medals in CONADE Games, and has prioritized vulnerable groups through the creation of a dedicated department. Additionally, the 'Sobreviví, Septiembre por la Vida' campaign was launched by Ruta Valles Mata to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention through community activities and forums.

Regarding security and public services, Valenciano reported that Delicias ranks among the ten safest cities in the country due to technological and equipment-based strategies. The administration also achieved 100 percent coverage in public lighting, including rural areas, with recent investments aimed at enhancing citizen safety.
