Delivered Korea reports 34% rise in cross-border trade volume

Cross-border shopping platform Delivered Korea announced that its total transaction volume (GMV) for the first half of the year reached approximately 39 billion KRW, marking a 34.2% increase compared to the same period last year.

Data analysis reveals distinct regional preferences for Korean goods. In Russia, purchase volume surged by 284%, driven primarily by K-beauty (25.0%) and K-fashion (24.3%). This aligns with broader trends, as South Korean cosmetic exports to Russia rose by 24% to approximately $212.6 million during the same period.

In Latin America, demand is heavily concentrated in K-pop related merchandise. Colombia saw a 256% increase in purchase volume, with K-pop products accounting for 56.8% of transactions. Mexico experienced a 120% increase, where K-pop items made up 37.5% of purchases, followed by stationery and photo albums at 26.4%.

To support this growth, Delivered Korea is exploring local distribution and logistics partnerships. In Russia, the company is investigating sales expansion through major e-commerce platforms Wildberries and Ozon, while navigating complex export controls and customs regulations.
