Deliveroo and Coco Robotics to launch robot deliveries in the UK

Deliveroo and Coco Robotics have entered an exclusive strategic partnership to launch autonomous robot deliveries across several UK cities. The rollout is scheduled to begin in London’s Canary Wharf this October.

Following the initial London launch, the service will expand to Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton on Tees, and Nottingham. The partnership marks Deliveroo’s first use of autonomous delivery vehicles in the UK as part of a strategy to develop a multi-modal last-mile delivery approach.

Coco Robotics will deploy fully electric robots designed for short distances and urban navigation. The expansion includes investment in UK operational infrastructure, such as new depots and charging facilities, which is expected to create skilled jobs in logistics, maintenance, and operations.
