Delivery worker Choi Jung-seop saves four lives through organ donation

Choi Jung-seop, a 46-year-old delivery worker, passed away after donating his organs to save four lives. According to the Korea Organ Donation Agency, Choi was declared brain dead following a motorcycle accident involving another vehicle during heavy rain on July 17.

Choi had been working over 14 hours a day as a delivery driver to support his family, including his mother and sister, who had been facing health struggles. Having witnessed his family's long battles with illness, Choi had previously expressed a desire to help others if he were ever in a critical situation. His family honored his wishes by consenting to the donation of his heart, liver, and both kidneys at Korea University Guro Hospital.

Family members described Choi as a diligent and responsible individual who had served as the primary provider for his family since his early 20s. The Korea Organ Donation Agency noted that his life of hard work culminated in a final act of sharing life with four others.
