Dell launches new XPS 13 laptop with local production in Brazil
Dell has launched the new XPS 13 laptop, featuring a design that emphasizes portability and premium materials. The device weighs 1 kg and is 12.7 mm thick, making it the lightest and thinnest in the XPS family. It features a 13.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen and a CNC-machined aluminum structure.
Hardware specifications include Intel Core Series 3 processors, such as the Core 5 320 and Core 7 355, along with a dedicated NPU for artificial intelligence tasks. Memory options range from 16 GB to 32 GB of RAM, with storage capacities of 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. The battery life is rated for up to 17 hours.
In Brazil, the model is manufactured locally and is available through Dell’s official store with promotional launch pricing. While the device aims to provide a premium experience at a more accessible price point compared to higher-end XPS models, reviewers note its minimalist design and limited port selection, including only two USB ports and no headphone jack.
