Dell launches premium Dell 14 notebook as NVIDIA readies RTX Spark laptops
Dell introduced the Dell 14, a 14‑inch premium‑entry notebook built with an all‑aluminum chassis. Weighing 1.56 kg and measuring 1.58‑1.89 cm thick, it features an Intel Core i7‑150U processor, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and a 512 GB NVMe SSD that performed below expectations in tests. The 14‑inch IPS display offers a 1920 × 1200 resolution and 300‑nit brightness, while connectivity includes USB‑C with DisplayPort, two USB‑A 3.2 ports, HDMI 2.1, and Wi‑Fi 6E.
NVIDIA announced that its RTX Spark system‑on‑chip will appear in notebooks from ASUS and MSI as early as the next quarter, with later models from Acer and Gigabyte. The integrated design combines up to 20 ARM‑based Grace CPU cores with a GPU ranging from an RTX 5050‑class to an RTX 5070‑class, targeting AI workloads, content creation, and gaming while promising all‑day battery life. The launch was confirmed at SIGGRAPH 2026.
