Dell Technologies expands AI Data Platform for enterprise agents

Dell Technologies has expanded its Dell AI Data Platform to provide enterprise AI agents with more accurate, cost-effective, and contextually aware data. The expansion aims to address the bottleneck of unorganized enterprise data, which often requires AI models to expend excessive compute and tokens to reconstruct information that should already be accessible.

The platform utilizes a Unified Semantic Layer to ensure consistent business meaning across structured and unstructured data, resolving discrepancies where different systems might use different terms for the same entity. Additionally, the platform incorporates an Enterprise Knowledge Graph to provide applications and agents with a unified view of company information.

To accelerate performance, the platform integrates NVIDIA Nemotron Retriever models for document parsing and NVIDIA cuVS for vector indexing and search. These enhancements allow for data processing that is, on average, nearly four times faster than using CPUs alone, helping organizations move AI deployments into production more reliably.
