Dell unveils XPS 16 Creator Edition with NVIDIA RTX Spark
Dell Technologies has unveiled the XPS 16 Creator Edition, the first laptop to feature the NVIDIA RTX Spark superchip. This hardware integrates NVIDIA AI, RTX graphics, and unified memory onto a single silicon chip. The system is designed to support high-demand workloads such as 3D rendering, 8K multi-layer video editing, and the execution of large-scale local AI models.
Technical specifications for the device include up to a 20-core Grace CPU, a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU, and up to 128GB of unified memory. This shared memory architecture allows both the CPU and GPU to access a large pool of data, which is particularly beneficial for complex AI and graphics tasks. The laptop features a 3.2K Tandem OLED display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and a CNC-machined aluminum chassis.
In the United States, preorders for the XPS 16 Creator Edition are scheduled to begin on October 7 through Best Buy, with a starting price of $3,799.99 for a 32GB/512GB configuration. The device is set to launch in South Korea on October 16. The laptop supports a wide range of professional software, including Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Blender, and utilizes the NVIDIA CUDA stack for developer-focused AI prototyping and inference.
