Deloitte and BPI launch social impact funding initiatives

Deloitte has opened applications for the 13th edition of its PACT Fund, an initiative designed to support non-profit institutions through funding and mentorship for social impact projects in Angola. The program focuses on social innovation and capacity building, with applications open until November 2. Over its 12 previous editions, the fund has supported 86 projects, including 14 in Angola.

In a separate social initiative, BPI and the la Caixa Foundation have awarded over 1.4 million euros to 32 social institutions. These funds, distributed through the eighth edition of the BPI la Caixa Childhood Award, aim to support projects focused on the inclusion and development of children and adolescents. The selected initiatives cover various areas, including emotional literacy, combatting school dropout, digital inclusion, and support for victims of domestic violence, benefiting approximately 8,216 young people.
