Deloitte holds large-scale staff event on Bornholm

The consulting firm Deloitte held a large-scale staff event in Allinge, Bornholm, involving approximately 800 employees. The company noted that such investments in community and employee retention can yield economic benefits, citing that keeping even 50 employees for an additional three months could offset the costs of the event.

However, the event faced criticism following a Facebook post in which organizers reportedly sought service staff willing to work for 140 DKK per hour. Critics argued this wage was too low for the scale of the event and pressured local labor markets. The post was subsequently removed.
