Delta Air Lines adds complimentary bag and rideshare credit to SkyMiles cards

Delta Air Lines and American Express have refreshed the Delta SkyMiles® credit‑card portfolio. New benefits include a complimentary second checked bag on U.S. domestic Delta‑operated flights for Gold, Platinum and Reserve cardholders (both consumer and business). Enrolled Gold and Gold Business members receive a $120 annual rideshare credit ($10 monthly) after renewal. Limited‑time welcome offers now grant up to 125,000 bonus miles for new card applicants, varying by tier.

Delta is also promoting its mobile app for travelers, highlighting features such as app‑only bag‑drop lanes at 20 airports, Touchless ID for TSA PreCheck, and an AI‑powered Delta Concierge that assists with flight changes, itineraries and travel documentation. These tools aim to streamline the journey for SkyMiles members throughout the summer travel season.
