Delta Air Lines rolls out $50 Amex credit offer and revises Starbucks mileage earning

American Express has introduced a new offer for Delta Air Lines cardholders: a one‑time $50 statement credit after spending at least $250 on purchases made directly with Delta, provided the flight originates in the United States. The offer is valid through 26 September 2026 and applies only to purchases in U.S. dollars. Exclusions include in‑airport purchases where Delta is not the merchant of record, onboard services, hotel and car rentals, and a range of Delta‑branded services such as vacations, cargo and SkyMiles Marketplace.

Separately, Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks have updated the terms of their long‑standing partnership. Beginning 5 August 2026, members will earn one SkyMile per $1 spent at Starbucks cafés for a 12‑month period when they take a qualifying Delta flight. Customers who have not flown recently receive an additional two‑month promotional window ending 5 October 2026, allowing them to continue earning miles under the revised conditions.
