Delta Connection flight crew dispute requires ground intervention in Detroit

A conflict between flight attendants on Delta Connection flight DL5090 required the aircraft captain to request ground assistance during its approach to Detroit. The flight, operated by Endeavor Air, was traveling from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in South Carolina to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport in Michigan.

During the descent, the captain informed air traffic control of “conflict issues” among the cabin crew, stating that supervisors would likely need to meet the aircraft at the gate to separate the crew members and prevent further escalation or an incident.

The regional jet, a CRJ-900, landed safely at gate C21 in Detroit, where management and supervisory staff were waiting to handle the situation. The specific cause of the disagreement between the crew members has not been disclosed.
