DELTA Fiber and Open Dutch Fiber announce infrastructure partnership

DELTA Fiber and Open Dutch Fiber have announced a partnership to share fiber optic infrastructure. Under this agreement, DELTA Fiber will offer its internet, television, and telephone services to consumers via the Open Dutch Fiber network. This marks the first time DELTA Fiber will provide broadband services through a network it does not own.

The collaboration initially covers more than 200,000 addresses across several Dutch municipalities, including Sittard-Geleen, Roosendaal, Venlo, Woerden, and Kerkrade. DELTA Fiber plans to announce specific subscription options for these locations by the end of the year, with service delivery scheduled to begin early next year.

Open Dutch Fiber CEO Paul Naastepad stated that the partnership reflects the evolution of the Dutch fiber market, noting that cooperation between network owners can reduce societal costs and improve the utilization of existing infrastructure. The agreement also provides opportunities to expand reach in the coming years.
