Delta flight carrying Andrew Garfield diverts to New Mexico

A Delta Air Lines Boeing 767 flight traveling from Los Angeles to New York was forced to make an emergency diversion to Albuquerque International Sunport on Wednesday afternoon. The crew reported a smoky or electrical odor in the cockpit, prompting the aircraft to land safely in New Mexico.

Several high-profile individuals were on board Delta Flight 958, including actors Andrew Garfield, Owen Thiele, and Nick Robinson, as well as singer Mark Ambor and Love Island USA contestant Dylan Wrona. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Delta Air Lines issued an apology to its customers for the inconvenience, stating that the aircraft landed uneventfully and that teams worked to re-accommodate passengers for their final destinations. Passengers were eventually rebooked and arrived safely at New York’s JFK airport.
