Delta Goodrem debuts on Strictly Come Dancing

Delta Goodrem Strictly Come Dancing samba Australian singer ballroom dancing

Australian singer Delta Goodrem has made a successful debut on the UK television program ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. Performing a samba with partner Kai Widdrington, Goodrem earned 29 out of 40 points, receiving high praise from judges Motsi Mabuse and Craig Revel Horwood.

The appearance marks a personal milestone for the 41-year-old, who previously faced public mockery regarding her dancing abilities in 2014. Goodrem noted that while the past experience was humiliating, she used it to overcome her fear of dancing.

To participate in the British series, Goodrem has temporarily left her newly purchased $11 million mansion in Rose Bay, Sydney, which she shares with husband Matthew Copley. Her upcoming performance on the show is expected to feature an American Smooth set to ‘I’ll Never Love Again’ from the film ‘A Star Is Born’.
