Delta Goodrem headlines Commonwealth Games closing ceremony, spotlight on husband Matthew Copley
Australian singer Delta Goodrem headlined the Glasgow Commonwealth Games closing ceremony, delivering a five‑song medley that featured her Eurovision 2026 entry "Eclipse" along with "Born to Try", "Sitting on Top of the World", "Lost Without You" and "Wings". She also performed a duet of John Farnham's "You're the Voice" with Scottish singer Cammy Barnes, while her husband and guitarist Matthew Copley accompanied her on stage.
Goodrem, who placed fourth at Eurovision 2026, has been in a long‑term relationship with Matthew Copley. The pair married after six to seven years together and keep their personal life largely private. They met through music, collaborate on recordings such as the Eurovision song "Eclipse", and have previously performed together in informal "Bunkerdown Sessions" during COVID lockdowns.
