Delta Goodrem to return to Strictly Come Dancing after injury

Delta Goodrem Strictly Come Dancing Kai Widdrington BBC rib injury

Singer Delta Goodrem is set to return to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom this Saturday, October 24, following a rib injury sustained during rehearsals. The injury forced Goodrem and her professional partner, Kai Widdrington, to miss the Icons Week live show on October 17, resulting in the pair receiving a bye into the current week.

The BBC confirmed that Goodrem has been given the all-clear to dance again. Goodrem previously expressed her heartbreak over missing the competition, stating she was “absolutely gutted” by the situation. Her partner, Widdrington, noted that the duo intends to ease back into their performances while maintaining the high standards of the show.
