Delta Governor Oborevwori Honors Former Governor Ibori on 68th Birthday

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori issued a congratulatory message to former Governor James Onanefe Ibori on Tuesday, marking Ibori's 68th birthday. The message, released through the governor’s Chief Press Secretary Sir Festus Ahon, praised Ibori’s tenure from 1999 to 2007, describing him as a dynamic and inspirational leader who laid key foundations for the state’s development.

Oborevwori wished Ibori continued health, blessings and a long life, saying the former governor’s impact is still felt across Delta State and beyond. The celebration is scheduled for August 4, 2026.
