Other notable award rates include 80,000 miles for business class from Europe to Asia, and as low as 65,000 miles for travel from Asia to Australia or New Zealand. While Africa to Australia/New Zealand awards at 90,000 miles are harder to find, they do exist.

Travelers can transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Delta SkyMiles at a 1:1 ratio instantly. When departing from Europe, taxes and fees vary; for example, an Amsterdam to Sydney route may incur approximately €157 in taxes, while starting from Madrid could reduce these costs to around €80, though this may require additional connecting flights.
