Delta State Governor presents bus to Nigeria Union of Journalists

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has provided a new 18-seater Toyota Hiace bus to the Delta State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ). The vehicle was presented in Asaba by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, to the NUJ Chairman, Churchill Oyowe.

The initiative aims to improve the mobility and operational capacity of journalists within the state, facilitating their ability to carry out professional assignments. Government officials stated the gesture recognizes the media as a critical partner in public enlightenment, accountability, and regional development. NUJ leadership expressed appreciation for the support, noting it would enhance their ability to fulfill professional responsibilities.
