Delta State Police arrest two suspects and seize tramadol in Asaba

The Delta State Police Command has arrested two suspected narcotics dealers and seized 132 sachets of 100mg tramadol. The arrests occurred on August 13, 2026, during a stop-and-search operation conducted by the Operation Delta Shield patrol unit along Nnebisi Road in Asaba. Officers intercepted a Toyota Hiace minibus and recovered the drugs from suspects Hillary Osondu and Abubakar Bello, both aged 54. The individuals remain in custody as investigations continue.

In a separate incident on the same day, police successfully recovered a stolen 2003 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle had been reported stolen from a parking location in Warri. Following a coordinated effort between detectives from the ‘A’ Division and the Dragon Patrol Team, the car was located along Winners Church Road in Ughelli approximately two hours after the initial report. Law enforcement is currently working to identify those responsible for the theft.
