Delta State tanker explosion kills at least 20 people

A fuel tanker explosion in Oghara, Delta State, has resulted in at least 20 deaths. The incident occurred on the Benin/Sapele expressway within the Ethiope West Local Government Area when the tanker veered off the road to avoid a bad spot, fell into a ditch, and burst into flames.

Eyewitnesses reported that the massive fire trapped several vehicles, including approximately 10 passenger cars, making rescue efforts difficult. Many victims were reportedly trapped inside their vehicles as the blaze spread.
