Delta United launches football talent scouting in Madagascar

Delta United Madagascar has launched a football talent detection campaign to identify players for the U17 and U20 categories. The initial scouting phase took place at the Esca field in Antananarivo, attracting approximately 250 to 300 participants.

Technical director Titi Rasoanaivo stated that selection criteria include technical mastery, tactical awareness, ball retention, dynamism, and versatility. Beyond football skills, scouts are also evaluating physical attributes such as height and build, as well as character and discipline.

The club is collaborating with international recruiting agents from Slovakia, Belgium, and France. These agents aim to select 24 players to be sent to training centers or clubs in Europe. The scouting process is expected to continue through October, expanding to other regions of Madagascar including Ambohidratrimo, the North, and the South.
