Delta V and Mao win best music video at Ponza Film Festival

The music video for ‘Wendy (Remix)’ has won the award for best music video at the 2026 Ponza Film Festival. The track is a reimagining of a song by the Milanese band Delta V, performed by the Turin-based singer Mao.

Directed by Nicolas Fransolet, the video was filmed entirely in Tokyo, Japan. The visual work captures the Japanese capital from day to night, utilizing a documentary-style approach that observes the metropolis and its inhabitants through moving perspectives without a central protagonist or scripted plot.

The Ponza Film Festival, held from September 4 to 6 at the Carlo Pisacane Multipurpose Hall, includes a competitive section for music videos alongside feature films, short films, and documentaries. The event is organized in collaboration with Rai and ActsTheater, with the patronage of the Municipality of Ponza.
