Delvis Rettob elected Chairman of Indonesia’s Catholic Student Union (PMKRI)
On July 28‑29, 2026, the Majelis Permusyawaratan Anggota (MPA) of the Perhimpunan Mahasiswa Katolik Republik Indonesia (PMKRI) convened in Ruteng, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Delvis Rettob, representing the Ambon branch, was elected Mandataris MPA, Formatur Tunggal and Ketua Presidium Pengurus Pusat for the 2026‑2028 term. He received 43 votes in the first round and was confirmed by acclamation after the other candidate did not attend the second round.
The new leadership pledged to reinforce the organisation’s solidarity, expand partnerships with central and regional governments, and address development inequality across Indonesia.
