During the 1991 production of the thriller ‘Mortal Thoughts’, actress Demi Moore faced significant professional challenges while serving in a dual role as both a lead actress and producer.

Moore, drawn to the script's focus on two strong female characters, took on production responsibilities that led to major creative shifts. This included the decision to dismiss the original director and co-screenwriter, Claude Kerven, only seven days into filming.
