Demi Vollering reflects on dominant cycling season and future dreams

Dutch cyclist Demi Vollering has completed a dominant season, securing both the World and European road racing titles. Following her move from Team SD Worx to FDJ-Suez in 2025, she has achieved significant success, including victories in the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and several major classics.

Reflecting on her professional mindset, Vollering cited the late American basketball player Kobe Bryant as a major source of inspiration. She noted a shared sense of obsession with detail and a commitment to the process, regardless of whether she is experiencing the highs of victory or the lows of a downward spiral.

Looking toward the future, Vollering remains under contract with FDJ-Suez until 2028. Beyond her cycling career, she expressed a long-term dream of living in the Swiss mountains, where she hopes to run a small farm with goats and sheep.
