Demirci Municipality completes sports pitches in 11 rural neighborhoods

Demirci Municipality has completed the construction of artificial turf football pitches in 11 rural neighborhoods within the Demirci district of Manisa. The project was financed by the Spor Toto Organization under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The new facilities feature 20x40 meter dimensions, modern lighting systems, and synthetic grass surfaces. The completed sites serve the neighborhoods of Ayvaalan, Bardakçı, Boyacık, Demirciköy, Çanakçı, İcikler, Kerpiçlik, Kuzuköy, Ören, Sevinçler, and Sağnıç.

Demirci Mayor Erkan Kara stated that providing sports opportunities for children and youth in rural areas is a priority, aiming to bridge the gap between urban and rural service accessibility.
