Democratic Party criticizes Albanian Ministry of Health over medical aid request
Genta Vangjeli, the Anti-Corruption Spokesperson for the Democratic Party of Albania, has criticized the Ministry of Health following an incident involving a pensioner seeking medical aid for her son.
According to the party, a mother was forced to lie on the ground in front of the Ministry of Health to seek assistance for her 30-year-old son, Albi Sula. Sula has suffered from severe health issues for three years and has undergone oncological surgery, but the family claims they have not received clear answers regarding his condition from Albanian medical professionals.
The family requested state assistance to facilitate periodic medical check-ups in Turkey due to financial constraints, but the request was reportedly denied. The Democratic Party is calling for immediate medical assessment and legal support for Sula’s treatment, both domestically and abroad.
