Democratic Party holds environmental movement in Sangihe

The Democratic Party's Sangihe Regency branch held a series of community activities to commemorate Indonesia's 81st Independence Day and the party's 25th anniversary. The events included the ‘Gerakan Nasional Langit Biru Indonesia Asri’ (National Blue Sky Movement), an environmental initiative launched by Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono.

Ronald Sampel, Chairman of the Sangihe Democratic Party Branch and member of the North Sulawesi Regional House of Representatives, stated that the movement encourages the community to maintain beach and environmental cleanliness. The program also featured a youth speech competition and various local community games to strengthen ties between the party and the public.
