Democratic Party launches digital monitoring as PLD proposes violence prevention centers

The Democratic Party (PD) has developed a new digital platform designed to monitor and score the activity of its officials and representatives. The system aims to allow deputies, leaders, and local branch heads to receive central party messages and will evaluate them based on the efficiency of their online distribution.

In North Macedonia, the Liberal Democratic Party (PLD) has proposed the creation of family centers in every municipality to provide professional support and prevent peer violence. While municipalities such as Saraj, Bogovinje, and Čair have expressed varying levels of readiness, they emphasize that implementation depends on clear legal frameworks and financial support from the central government. Saraj noted that such centers require specialized professionals and adequate funding to function effectively, while Bogovinje stated they had only heard of the initiative through media reports.
