Democratic Party leadership resigns in Imperia

The Democratic Party (PD) in Imperia is undergoing a strategic leadership restructuring following the resignations of city secretary Paolo Berlanda and his entire secretariat, including Marco Bagnasco, Milla Berio, and Mariella Rossi.

Provincial secretary Pietro Mannoni indicated that the move is intended to resolve internal tensions and define the party's direction well ahead of upcoming municipal elections. By renewing local leadership now, the party aims to avoid internal conflicts during the election cycle. The restructuring seeks to unify different internal factions, specifically those associated with Ivan Bracco and Edoardo Verda, to establish a cohesive platform and mayoral candidacy.
